LEADERSHIP

The leadership team is responsible for creating and driving the strategies that power Vandover’s services and keep us at the forefront of the mobility industry. The team’s business experience and backgrounds include:

  • Business acumen developed by working for Fortune 100 companies
  • Counseling, which provides the foundation of our coaching model
  • Entrepreneurship, which remains central to our vision as we strive to meet the needs of the changing mobility landscape

Mary Quigg, SCRP – Chief Executive Officer

Mary champions Vandover’s mission and vision, builds company culture, and provides key leadership and insight to support company growth and innovation objectives. As co-founder of Vandover, Mary has been a leader in the field of workforce mobility for more than 25 years and has additional experience in real estate and human resources. Mary has been awarded the Women Presidents’ Organization’s Mary Lehman MacLachlan Economic Empowerment Award in recognition of entrepreneurial excellence and the Distinguished Service Award and Meritorious Service Award from Worldwide ERC®.  She is President of Lincolnshire International/Arbora, a global network of career transition firms and is a member of the Women Presidents’ Organization.  Mary is certified by the Small Business Administration as a SCORE Counselor, and serves as a volunteer mentor for St. Louis Mentor Group.

 

Margery M. Marshall, SCRP – President 

As president, Margery leads strategic business initiatives, planning, and product development at Vandover. Her extensive experience includes senior executive positions with Prudential Financial and Cartus. She has presided over large, global organizations in excess of 2,000 employees and strategically aligned offices in each major region of the world. In addition, she has lead mergers and acquisitions efforts, including evaluation and subsequent integration, for domestic and global acquisition candidates. Margery has been featured or quoted in nearly every medium and is a frequent speaker and subject matter expert at major mobility conferences. She currently serves on the Worldwide ERC® Industry Advisory Council, is a board member for the Human Resource Planning Society (HRPS) and is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). She has been honored with many leadership and performance awards, including the Meritorious Service Award from Worldwide ERC®. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and post-graduate work in strategic planning, executive leadership, and international affairs.

 

Ed Marshall, CRP, GMS – VP of Relationship Management 

Ed develops and manages relationships with corporate clients and strategic partners to maintain Vandover’s commitment to providing customized and flexible career transition solutions to employers who care about their employees. With more than 20 years of executive and senior management experience in operations management, sales, marketing, merchandising, and planning at Fortune 100 companies, Ed partners with clients to understand and meet their workforce mobility and talent management needs. He is a member of the Canada Employee Relocation Council (CERC) and European Relocation Association (EURA) and has presented at numerous relocation industry conferences. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania.

 

Michelle Langley, MBA MSW, LCSW – VP of Consulting Services 

Michelle provides leadership and direction to the consulting, research, customer service, and quality assurance teams in order to continue delivering high-value transition assistance to participants around the globe. She has more than 15 years of high-level leadership experience, including a position as COO of Community Psychiatric Centers and a senior director position at the American Red Cross. Her experience working in sales and nonprofit management provide a strong background of leading cross-functional teams to serve both individual program participants and client organization needs. She has a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of Texas and an MBA from Lindenwood University and has maintained her clinical expertise by working with EAP programs throughout her management career. She supports local community nonprofits by serving on the United Way allocations board.

 

Customer Relations:

Diana Allen

Diana manages the customer service process from initiation until the file is passed to a Transition Coach for services. Diana joined Vandover in May 2008. Prior to joining Vandover, her work history includes residential real estate appraiser and director of alumni affairs. She has relocated numerous times within the continental U.S. as well as three international moves with her family. She has a BA degree in Communication from Arizona State University.

Coaching:

Laura Gunter MA, LPC

Laura champions Vandover’s coaching philosophy, model, and training program. Since joining the organization in 2008, she has led the efforts to enhance Vandover’s Pre-Decision services, including the TalentMobility® assessment and program. Laura has assisted hundreds of families with making informed relocation decisions, as well as building and implementing sound transition strategies. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. Prior to joining Vandover, Laura served as a professor of psychology, mental health clinician in private practice, and a corporate consultant.

Research:

David Wilhelm, M.Ed

David leads the research team and focuses on constantly improving the quality of research that Vandover delivers to our participants. Dave’s goal is to ensure the research team is delivering high-value research to our domestic and global participants. He works to align research with coaching to provide maximum value. Prior to Vandover, he has worked in various customer service roles, including research assistant, research specialist, technology consultant, and claims adjuster. He has a master’s degree in education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction from the University of Missouri.

Project Management:

Lisa Broderick, MBA

Lisa provides project management oversight for a select number of Vandover’s critical initiatives supporting our continued growth. She joined Vandover in 2012. Lisa has over 10 years of experience as an accomplished project manager and analyst with proven strong results in diverse facets of business. She has an MBA, an undergraduate degree in accounting, and continued education focused in project management.

Human Resources:

Carolyn Sutton

Carolyn’s areas of responsibility include benefits, compensation, learning and development, employee relations, payroll, records, recruitment and staffing, information management, leadership development, as well as design and implementation of all human resource and technology strategies. Her 20 years of experience in human resources, operations, and IT provide a strong background that lends to high employee engagement and a sound technology platform. Carolyn attended University of Phoenix and is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and AAIM’s Senior Organizational Development Roundtable.

Accounting

Jennifer Laux

Jennifer is responsible for developing and maintaining the accounting practices and procedures for Vandover. She produces monthly financial statements and continuously tracks key metrics to ensure an accurate understanding of the company’s performance. Her analysis of variances provides critical insight for managers in all departments and helps support Vandover’s overall goals and objectives. She collaborates with upper management to create detailed budgets and forecasts. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Missouri State University, with minors in Mathematics and Insurance.

Technology:

Laura Goodman

Laura oversees and coordinates all of Vandover’s technology efforts. She serves as the point-of-contact for internal customers within an organization who require technical assistance, manages relationships with external vendors, and monitors the purchasing and implementation of hardware and software.
