Consultant Positions
The Consultant position is the primary point of contact for participant interaction. Consultants ensure the delivery of quality services and products by acting as a job coach and a facilitator. Excellent oral and communication skills are essential, as the majority of participant interaction is over the telephone. Consultants work independently with the close support of Research Staff to facilitate/complete research, résumés, and other projects. Consultants may be required to work hours outside the normal business day or engage in business travel.

Consultants assess participant needs and recommend the most appropriate program and then work closely with the Research Team to deliver research based on participant needs. They provide ongoing transition coaching to the participants related to interviewing/negotiating, contacting potential employers, networking, and general support during relocation or outplacement.

Requirements include professional experience in business, education, training, or a customer service environment, superior oral and written communication skills, and exceptional telephone etiquette. Must be proficient in MS Word and knowledgeable in Internet searches; familiarity with Access database and PowerPoint is an advantage. Must possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent problem solving and decision making abilities, and capability to participate in a team setting and interact with management, participants, and colleagues. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.


Research Specialist Positions
The Research Specialist performs telephone, electronic, and hardcopy research to produce detailed participant reports and serves as the research expert regarding appropriate sources for locating requested information. Working closely with the consulting team and quality assurance team, the Research Specialist provides excellent customer service through the production of consistently accurate, well-written, and timely research reports that deliver substantial value to our participants.

Requirements include superior research, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proper telephone etiquette; and strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple project requests in a time-sensitive environment. Comfortable working both independently and as a team member. Possess sound judgment and good customer relations skills in dealing with internal co-workers, external clients, and resource companies. Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Front Page, and the Internet is strongly preferred. Fluency in another language is desirable.


Résumé Writer Positions

The Résumé Writer creates new résumés and cover letters based on pertinent information provided by job-seeking participants. Works with consultants, other résumé writers, and quality assurance team to conduct résumé reviews and ensure quality of product. Serves as expert on most appropriate résumé format, content, and style.

Requirements include excellent written communication and proofreading skills, strong organizational and research skills, and exceptional customer service skills. Computer proficiency in MS Word and Internet research is an advantage. Bachelor’s degree required.
